MWORDS was created out of a love for photography and a passion for charitable giving. What began as a beloved hobby became a way to thank those who supported my team non-profit fundraising efforts, as I joined countless Canadians to help make the lives of those who struggle less challenging.

As MWORDS continues to grow, philanthropy remains our constant focus because we believe that you must always keep reaching. We refuse to settle for mediocrity, choose to dwell in possibility and believe that nothing is worth doing if not done passionately.
BEHIND THE LENS
Owner and Photographer, Melanie Robitaille fell in love with photography as a teenager during the age of film and has captured the world through her lens as a beloved past time for over 20 years. What began as an artistic hobby, matured with her through high school photography courses, editorial photography as a journalist, nature and urban landscape photography as a Graphic Designer, and finally blossomed into the MWORDS Photography venture you see today.
Born and raised in Peel Region, Melanie made the move to Perkinsfield, ON with her husband and two children to reconnect with her deep family roots and the abundance of nature in the North Simcoe area. Chances are you’ve already visited her home studio, happened upon her booth at a local event, or found her strolling the shores of Georgian Bay, camera in hand, capturing the everyday magnificence of her new home.
